Q: Are you affiliated with A-TACS uniform pattern or any other company named "ATAC"?
A: The simple answer to the first part is NO. There are two main ways to find out if a similiar sounding company is a part of our specific brand. Subsidiary & brand affiliated businesses are specifically advertised as "Sister Sites" (or something to the effect thereof) in order to deter confusion & mixup. If you do not see a company listed under those terms on the main pages of this website then it does not belong to us and vice versa. In all other cases as well, our brand name contains a hyphen "-" symbol to help distinguish us from other companies with similiar names.
Q: Is there a refund/return policy for my firearm purchase if I don't like it?
A: You may certainly contact us in the event that a firearm sold by us to you is not to your particular liking. Generally speaking our philosophy is that customers need to be diligently aware as to what they are buying & the purpose for doing so. An item may not be refunded or returned if there is sufficient grounds to believe that the cause for the return is not legitimate or reasonable. In any case it is advised to contact us directly and express your concerns.
Q: Are background checks required? Can't you do a "private sale"?
A:YES backgrounds check are required and NO we do not engage in "private sales." As an FFL dealer we are held to the strictest letter of the law as to what we can and cannot do. To answer this question fully, something needs to be made perfectly clear about the firearm industry: Countless rules and regulations are there for a reason. While we may not agree with all of the laws at the end of the day, breaking Federal and state mandated laws is not a game and the criminal penalties for doing so are extremely deep and wide. In the event you feel you may have been unjustly deprived of your 2nd Amendment Rights or if there is something that should not be preventing you from gun ownership, you will need to consult an attorney for further assistance before EVER attempting a gun purchase.
Q: Exactly how old do I have to be to purchase from you?
A: For firearm purchases, the appropriate qualifying age varies widely on what state you are located in. Generally speaking, the minimum age to buy shotguns & rifles is 18 years, and for handguns & pistols you have to be at least 21 years of age. If you are unsure, then give us a call at 720-427-1520 to see what can be arranged.
Q: As soon as I purchase a gun, how exactly does the delivery process work?
A: Once your purchase is made, we arrange to have the particular firearm shipped to your most local FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer or gun retailer where you will travel to go pick up the product. Under Federal Law, we cannot ship the firearm directly to your address by mail.This applies to any and all firearm purchases, unless you are having one built in our workshop (terms & conditions apply).
Q: I am having difficulty using the website or submitting a form and would like to have this issue corrected. Who do I inform about this?
A: For any and all technical problems/concerns regarding our website you need to get in touch with our webmaster who can be reached through our Contact Us page. If you are on Facebook or Twitter, you may also visit our site channels there and send us a message and we will respond as quickly as possible.
Q: Do you guys offer special discounts for military & police? What about other businesses?
A: We offer an automatic 10% discount to all police & military transactions (consult our About Us page)! Our sister site, A-TAC TACTICAL GROUP (COMING SOON) will allow greater flexibility for other small firearm businesses looking to grow, and to offer what is known as 'Blue Label Pricing' to miltary units & police departments.
Q: Do you offer memberships to your regular customers? What about special offers or coupons?
A: At this time we are asking that our visitors provide us with their email addreses so that they can be subscribed to our Newsletter feed (you can find out more by scrolling to the bottom of this page). In addition, we are potentially looking at annual memberships & referral programs for our regular civilian buyers. We also strive to improve your online & customer service experience. Q: How will I know when and where your next gun show appearance is?
A: We are working on creating an Event Calendar where you can catch up with us in person if you so choose. Keep in mind there are certain products we sell in person at the gun shows that we cannot sell online for conflict of interest reasons, so we'd love for you to stop on by! Q: I noticed your physical address is in my local area. Can I stop on by?
